Finally i'm free of studying chinese for another few months:D
Well, life has been rather hectic lately, running around all over. Time to post about food!
After sending Sara off from the airport and since we were in the area, we decided to pay Steveston wharf a visit.Oh it was a cold, dark summer's day.I was craving for some fish and chips! We finally arrived there at about 15 minutes later.
Well, basically we fished around for a seemingly good, of course not forgetting (value-for-money) place to dine at. Eventually we stuck with Sockeye City Grill.
We ordered the large fish and chips(Cod). It was a tad bland, i thought pajo's really did the fish and chips justice. The fish batter was quite mediocre and wasn't exactly fried to perfection. The fries were average, run-of-the-mill thick cut fries.
The steak and lobster set was quite value for money at only $29. The steak i had here, was better than seasons in the park, it was medium-well. The fried onions was a good side to go with it. This was my first eating lobster, however, i thought it was pretty good. It was quite meaty.
Overall, i thought i'd give this place a 3/5, if you are in the area, its not a bad place to go to, however i wouldn't make the trip all the way down from coquitlam for it.
